With over 100 years of combined experience, our team of professionals has
what it takes to create the custom design of your dreams! All of our
associates have undergone extensive hands-on training and possess the
knowledge needed to design, manufacture, and install a truly one-of-a-kind
product that will exceed your expectations.
Michael A. Moyes - General Manager
Mike joined The Custom Closet Company four years ago and brought with him
over 20 years of production management. Having worked in the custom closet
industry since its inception in the early 1980's, Mike has gained experience
in all facets of this field, and his experience and skills as a manager has
proven to be a tremendous asset to the company.
Todd Eckman - Designer
Having worked in the custom closet industry for over 23 years, Todd has
witnessed firsthand the evolution of the industry. His experience includes
13 years in design work. He has been employed with The Custom Closet Company
for the past 11 years, where he also leads and trains the company's sales team.
Kathy Borghesi - Designer
Kathy joined The Customer Closet Company team five years ago. Armed with a
degree in Interior Design and over 20 years of experience, Kathy not only has
the ability to organize, but she also has a keen eye for style and creating
a design that best fits each individual client.
Sandy Pedersen - Designer
Sandy's background includes a degree in marketing from Washington State University
and 22 years of experience. Her ability to match the right product with each
client has proven to be a great benefit to The Custom Closet Company, where she
has worked for the past three years.
Eric - Installations
Eric came to The Custom Closet Company 12 years ago and brought with him over
14 years of industry experience. Since then, he has served as the back bone
of our installation team by taking part in all training and the development
of products. Eric's commitment and attention to detail can be traced back
to the six years he served in the military.
Morgan - Installations
Having worked in construction since a teen, Morgan has proven to be a natural
in the custom closet industry. His 10 years of experience along with his eye
for details has made him an important asset to the company since his joining
The Custom Closet Company three years ago.
Bernard - Installations
Bernard transitioned well into the custom closet industry after having gained
9 years of experience working with sheet metal and six years in the carpentry
field. Three years ago he joined The Custom Closet Company, and since then
he has developed a stellar reputation for his workmanship and positive attitude.
Nathan - Shop Foreman
Nate began his work with the company 10 years ago, first as an installer and
then moving into the shop. He possesses an in depth knowledge of all the
custom closet materials and parts. His responsibilities include overseeing
the production of each job, training new hires, and maintaining all equipment
to meet the high standards of the industry.
Peter - Shop Associate
For as long as he can remember, Peter's interest have always been in carpentry
and cabinet making. He came to The Custom Closet Company two years ago and
brought with him a degree from Portland State College and 15 years of industry
experience. He has proven to be an important member of the team by helping to
maintain the company's high standard in the manufacturing of products.
Michael Musick - Owner
Mike co-founded The Custom Closet Company 18 years ago with his wife Kathy. He
has over 25 years of industry experience and is involved in all aspects of
the company whether it's design, manufacturing, or installations. He is also
involved in the training of all new associates, and he oversees the growth
and development of the company by staying current with the latest industry trends.
Kathleen Musick - Owner
Prior to co-founding the business 18 years ago, Kathy worked part-time developing
displays used in home shows. Her 24 years of industry experience has proven very
beneficial as she now serves as a designer and the office manager for The Custom
Closet Company.
Letter from the Owner
As often found in the construction industry, there are many times when there is a
fluctuation in the volume of work. During peak times, we bring in additional
help as needed to assist our installers or manufacturers. This extra staff
serves a supportive role to our trained carpenters.
I recruited the majority of our associates after having known them previously
and being impressed with their experience and skills. It was my mission to
put together a team that could bring produce the best in design, manufacturing,
and installation. I want all of our clients to feel 100% confident that they
are receiving the highest quality service available!
